There are coffees that surprise you from the very first sip. Our Gesha Village Surma Semi Anaerobic 26/E22 is one of them. This lot comes from Gesha Village, a farm known for its demanding approach to coffee growing and its meticulous work on Gesha varieties. The Surma plot, tied to lot 26/E22, sits on high-altitude terroir that favours slow cherry maturation and real aromatic complexity. The semi-anaerobic method controls part of the fermentation in a low-oxygen environment. The technique brings out the coffee's natural potential without masking its identity, and adds depth. From the Ethiopian highlands it reveals a luminous cup where exotic fruit meets an elegant acidity.
