A washed Kenyan lot from Kiangoi Factory, part of the Rung'eto Farmers' Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga. Grown on the slopes of Mount Kenya between 1600–1800 MASL in volcanic Nitisol soil; around 1150 smallholder producers deliver cherries to the wet mill.Cherries are hand-sorted, pulped, and the higher grades fermented in concrete tanks for 18–36 hours, washed, then dried slowly on African raised beds for 12–20 days.Clean, complex, and intensely juicy, with raspberry, layered berries, rosewater, violet florals, forest fruit, and a mild lemon acidity.
