A debut for the Mandela variety from Cafe Granja La Esperanza — complex, intense, and unlike anything else on the menu. Grown at Cafe Granja La Esperanza in Colombia at 1,445–1,571 metres, the Mandela varietal is the result of a multi-stage breeding programme, producing a coffee of exceptional complexity and depth.Cherries are picked at peak ripeness before a single-stage anaerobic fermentation of 168 hours, then dried using mechanical driers before stabilisation and storage.Cherry praline leads with a rich, dessert-like sweetness, maltloaf building through the middle, and dark chocolate anchoring the finish.
