We carefully selected these two beautiful lots, Trapiche 2 AFB and Lino 4 FB, at the farm during our trip to Panama. Both lots beautifully express the unique character of Esmeralda’s profiles, intensely floral, remarkably elegant, and refined.Hacienda La Esmeralda has been instrumental in shaping the global reputation of Panama’s Gesha coffee. In 2004, the Peterson family won the Best of Panama competition with their exceptional Gesha, a variety previously unknown in the region. This iconic farm remains one of the most renowned in the world.This lot was harvested on January 14, 2026 from the Lino lot in Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Cañas Verdes farm. After harvest, the coffee cherries were depulped and subsequently fermented in a low temperature room for 96 hours.This microlot was slowly dried on raised beds for 9 days.
